The Ellington is an existing 120 bed skilled nursing facility located in Rayne, Louisiana. The owner desired to renovate and provide building additions that would completely rework the existing structure and provide the appearance of a completely new facility. It is the intention of the owner to provide new and improved social and activity spaces, and to increase the number of private room accommodations for residents.

The building additions will include relocated business offices, chapel, activity room, living rooms, beauty shop, theater, physical therapy, laundry, central receiving, and forty luxury semiprivate suites. The addition of these semiprivate suites will allow all forty of the existing resident rooms to provide private accommodations. Following completion of the building additions approximately 50% of the existing building will be raised.

In addition, renovated plans will include new parking, drives, storm water design, and an inviting landscaping plan.
