Oak Grove Nursing Home is an existing 120 semi-private bed skilled nursing facility located in Groves, Texas. The owner desired to renovate and provide building additions that would completely rework the existing structure and provide a West-Texas appearance to fit in with the Texas Vernacular Architecture of the area.
The owner wanted to provide new and improved social and activity spaces, and to increase the number of private room accommodations for residents.
The building additions will include a relocated business office core, physical therapy, activity room, living rooms,
beauty shop, theater, new laundry building, luxury semiprivate & private suites. The addition of these new semiprivate & private suites will allow many of the existing resident rooms to provide private accommodations. In addition, renovated plans will include new parking, drives, storm water design, and an inviting landscaping plan that will preserve many of its beautiful live oak trees.
