Opened in December of 2009, Resthaven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a replacement facility for an older 160 resident skilled care nursing center located in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Additional land was purchased adjacent to the existing home to allow for the 70,000 square foot expansion.

The owner desired to create an upscale home-like atmosphere that would appeal to residents and families. Amenities include richly appointed living spaces, dining facilities, a chapel, library, activity room, movie theater, large shaded porches and lushly landscaped courtyards.
