The Physicians Medical Center expanded its healthcare services with the creation of the Breast Cancer Center. Beginning with establishing a strong visual presence from the street, the Center provides a warm and inviting interior, and promotes a comfortable and calming environment for those undergoing treatment.

The Center provides comprehensive treatment for breast cancer including: surgery, reconstructive surgery, radiation and chemotherapy treatment, as well as mammography and additional imaging services.

The exterior is composed of brick and metal panels to create a striking and identifiable appearance. Sunscreens and louvers protect exterior glazing. The lobby and waiting room are contained within tall light-filled spaces. An adjoining retail shop providing patient care goods is conveniently located by the main entry. Glazed openings in treatment rooms focus on private gardens to provide a calming environment to patients undergoing chemotherapy.
