A native of Central Louisiana, Zach Hernandez is an integral contributor to our architectural design team. He holds a Bachelor of Construction Engineering Technology degree from Louisiana Tech University. Zach’s work experience bridges the construction and architectural aspects of the building industry, yielding an informed perspective toward both sides.

After graduation, Zach worked first in the field as a foreman and then as an estimator for a contractor. He found that his easy manner and engaging communications with subcontractors and suppliers helped him develop relationships that aided the estimating effort and delivery of projects. Sometime later, Zach founded a successful residential drafting business that drew upon his construction experience and provided a creative outlet to further explore the design side of building. An opportunity emerged for Zach to join our studio, pursue his “curiosity,” and share his diverse experience and insights to our mutual benefit.

In his free time, Zach enjoys spending time with his wife Hanna, and two kids, Addison and Andrew. Zach and Hanna are active members of their church, teaching Sunday School for upper elementary kids. Zach serves on the local water board in his community, and at 5 a.m. most mornings, you can find him at B22 gym, immersed in the CrossFit Cult(ure).
