After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Architecture at Louisiana Tech University, Melody set off to the “big” city of Nashville, TN to pursue her dreams in Architecture. Unexpectedly, she found love, which in turn, took her from Nashville to Managua, Nicaragua in Central America. Immersed in a new culture and new language, Melody dove right in and teamed up with an architectural and furniture design firm to design and develop a local coffee shop, Café Las Flores. Enriched by this experience, Melody has returned to Central Louisiana with her husband and son (age 2) to be closer to family and friends and to further develop her skills in architecture.
When she is not throwing and kicking balls with her son Luke, she enjoys working with her hands, whether it is drawing, painting, or ceramics…..or just simply trying to fix something. She is excited to become involved in the arts and architecture community of Alexandria.
Embarking on this new phase of her life, she couldn’t feel more blessed to be able to join the Ashe Broussard Weinzettle “family” and is working towards her licensure in becoming an Architect in the near future.
