173 acres of farmland was transformed into a public 18-hole links golf course. The links course is flat with few trees, wide open vistas, gently rolling berms, and contains a variety of water features from ponds to a tree-lined bayou.

By locating the golf cart storage within a stepped masonry base the main floor of the clubhouse is elevated above the flat site and has a commanding presence over the course. An outdoor terrace overlooks the 9th and 18th greens. The overall clubhouse building form is comprised of a series of cascading shed roofs supported by an exposed steel structure and clad in metal siding that relate to the simple agrarian barns and structures commonly found in the local rural context.
